The Purpose

Translate technical requirements into feasible business solution. Ensure all sales leads are attended and accommodated. Provide guidance and mentorship to SEs on technology/project specific cases.

Key Accountabilties & Responsiblities
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Design efficient solutions that meets clients’ needs and budget.
  • Validate solution design with concerned technical (functional) and commercial teams (pricing).
  • Provide technical leadership to enterprise customers through a range of pre sales support functions including, supporting product evaluations, pre-sales technical consultation, post-sales support advocacy, and proactive needs analysis.
  • Ensure output include a detailed scope of work and a valid BoQ.
  • Network Security assessment
  • SOC and MSSP security solutions
  • Verify system entry is connect and in line with proposed scope and BoQ
  • Approve order within agreed KPI
  • Verify hardware availability with store team.
  • Communicate with procurement to obtain supplier quotes within agreed timeline.
  •  Align with technology teams and other concerned to guarantee the feasibility of the proposed solution.
  • Update with latest technologies trends and solutions.
  •  Attend approved webinars and seminars
  • Attend other vendor specific trainings and achieve certifications
  • Review technical journals and share knowledge with the team
Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Computer Science or ICT related discipline. 
Requirements
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent understanding of Telecom / ICT industry trends, including new products and solutions
  • Expert knowledge of security vendors and their product portfolio.
  • Ability to lead techno-commercial meetings and provide guidance and consultancy to client.
  • Demonstrate the ability to mentor system engineers and support them with complex projects.
  • Work in a team-oriented environment, and perform well under pressure.
  • Ability to manage time and work on multiple complex projects, and deliver on commitment.Deep analytical skills and attention to details.
  • Experience and understanding of security trend and threat landscape and framework.
  • Excellent knowledge in building solutions based on company product portfolio.
  • Excellent knowledge with networking technologies: LAN, WLAN, WAN.
  • Excellent understanding of network security practices and presales

The Role

To generate revenue by targeting various set of communities or segments within the country and reaching out to them directly or indirectly to offer or distribute or sell our services (prepaid or postpaid). This activity will be largely done by direct contact or participating in some events, associations or gathering etc. This team will not participate or be present in regular traditional channels

Key Accountabilities and Activities
  • To distribute or sell Ooredoo services and products on one-to-one contact or through some gatherings.
  • Appoint agents or distributors under your DMS ID who can further distribute or sell.
  • Manage month to month activities of the community Sales Force based on the assigned targets from management.
  • Be proactive and have an innovative mindset to target certain segments which is not covered by traditional channels. 
  • Take the initiative to stay well-informed about latest progress or developments in the market /related to segments, offers etc. And to report the same to higher authorities 
  • Make sure adequate pipeline is created by engaging multiple events, customer interactions across various strategic locations to meet the monthly target.
  • Provide support to customers “existing and new” as part of the community.
  • Follow the defined procedure to activate lines, services and Ported In customers in which ensures minimum delays in order to meet subscriber expectations & follow sales validation process (KYC).
  • To work during odd hours or weekends (like during evenings after 5 or 6 PM to be present in the field)
  • Attend constantly all training and coaching which set be management.
  • Ensure that drawers are opening and closing as per Ooredoo finance standard on daily basis wherever staff is managing the drawers.
  • Before closing cash register or cash drawer, employee and branch manager should make sure that all the transactions are on the place.
  • Handle cash at the store as well as collecting daily sales and other necessary reports.
  • Receive payments and issue receipts for sale items and outstanding accounts, ensuring accuracy of transactions and correctness of data input to the financial system.
  • Process collection report on daily bases according to financial process.
  • Ensure that all transaction submitted and matching the request without any variance.
  • Report and deliver the daily cash and credit cards vouchers as well for the Ooredoo services which require applications.
  • The signed SAF is to be sent back to CCQC and a scanned copy is to be uploaded in RAS as attachment fill
  • Ensure every sim distributed /activated /handed over to customer is registered in DMS with the defined KYC process.
  • Ensure that all signatures are done by employee and customer on requested places on SAF.
  • Ensure that all the transactions are checked properly; in order to submit it to the Head Office on daily basis to avoid any claw back.
  • Phono management has the right to reallocate sales executive to any other division during crisis mode.
  • Proactively take responsibility for self-improvement by staying well-informed of developments, knowledge and innovations in relevant field of expertise.
  • Other duties as directed by supervisor or other superiors in which ease the branch operations and assist in the absence of Branch manager or the Team leader.
  • Up-sell and promote company digital platforms and direct customers to process their basic services through it. Contribute to the department communication plan through attendance of regular team meetings, events and preparation of requested reports.
  • Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues.
Qualifications
  • High School or 2 year diploma in business or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in relevant field.
