Senior Associate – Compliance

Responsibilities

•Support the formulation and execution of the Annual Compliance Plan. •Conduct periodic Distributor Retail Standards (DRS) readiness assessments across all Mercedes-Benz Passenger Cars (MBPC) operating locations, ensuring 100% compliance with Mercedes Benz requirements. Report findings and non-compliance to management with clear recommendations for corrective action. •Assist Daimler teams during year-end compliance audits at MBPC locations in Kuwait, facilitating smooth and transparent audit processes. •Perform Stellantis DRS Facility and Process readiness audits at all MBMC Sales and Service locations to ensure operational adherence. Support Stellantis during their annual audits and provide actionable insights for improvement. •Carry out Compliance Risk Assessments, identifying high and medium risk areas for proactive management intervention and risk mitigation. •Contribute to the development and periodic review of policies and procedures across departments, integrating appropriate controls to address compliance gaps and operational deficiencies. •Execute compliance reviews to assess adherence to established policies and procedures; highlight deficiencies and recommend timely remediation. •Assist in designing and enhancing compliance audit programs that align with business objectives and the specific risk profile of each operational area. •Gather, review, and analyze documentation and data to support fact-based compliance assessments and investigations. •Prepare and present comprehensive compliance reports for Executive Management, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and actionable insight. •Evaluate the effectiveness of operational, financial, and IT controls, and assess adherence to internal policies, strategic goals, and applicable laws and regulations. •Actively participate in process improvement initiatives, digital automation projects, and IT-driven compliance enhancements to optimize audit and compliance operations. •Visit operational sites for conducting audits, reviews, and compliance engagements as required.

Senior Associate – Internal Audit

Responsibilities

•Assist in developing necessary process, policies and procedures for internal audit function. •Evaluate and provide reasonable assurance that risk management, control and governance systems are functioning as per goals / objectives set. •Assist Group Manager / Manager in planning financial, regulatory, information security and operational audits. Assist in developing audit programs that are tightly integrated with existing business objectives and the inherent risks of the areas under review. •Coordinate with operations and support functions. Conduct risk assessments and ensure that controls in place to mitigate identified risks. •Perform audit analyses and evaluate effectiveness and efficiency of control environment. Insurance Surveyor

Responsibilities

•Conduct physical inspection of damaged vehicles at garages, agency, or roadside (if required). •Assess the extent of damage, identify accident-related and unrelated damages as per the policy report and motor policy and evaluate repair feasibility. •Estimate repair costs, including labor, spare parts, painting, and replacement. •Verify vehicle details, chassis/engine numbers, and pre-existing conditions. •Prepare detailed survey/assessment reports with photographs and cost estimates. •Analyze garage quotations and negotiate repair costs to ensure cost-effective settlement. •Provide recommendations on total loss, constructive total loss, or salvage value, when applicable. •Ensure accuracy, transparency, and fairness in all assessments. •Communicate professionally with garages, Agency, and parts supplier. •Guide customers on claim procedures, documentation, and next steps, if required. •Ensure all assessments adhere to company policies, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements. •Detect and highlight any suspicious / fraudulent claims or inflated repair estimates. •Maintain documentation and digital records as per audit and compliance standards. •Assist the claims team in finalizing settlements and responding to queries. •Participate in vendor evaluations for garages and part suppliers. •Support periodic analysis of claims trends, repair costs, and loss patterns.
