DRIVER

Job Purpose

Emirates Engineering is a cutting-edge aircraft maintenance facility, GCAA CAR V approved, supporting Emirates’ vast Airbus and Boeing fleet and thirty other airlines through third-party contracts. Our highly qualified team excels in maintenance, engineering, quality, planning, and logistics, setting industry standards with an unwavering commitment to safety and excellence.

The Driver will deliver the couriers and mails from various Engineering departments to the Engineering mail room and Central Services in a timely manner.

In this role you will:

Ensure to collect out bound documents from cargo/mail section for flights and vice versa.
Ensure that couriers and mails are delivered to Line Maintenance and Engineering hangars according to the delivery address.
Collect mail from Engg hangars and Line maintenance and deliver to Engg mail room.
Delivery of mail and couriers from Engg mail room to EGHQ Central Service.
Check equipment allocated to him is safe for driving on ramp and all ramp safety instruction are followed without fail.
Report any delay of documents to supervisor.
Vehicles scheduled for maintenance to be shifted between Airside and Landside.
Ensure all safety procedure are followed.
To assist the Executive Secretary/Administrator in adhoc administrative tasks as assigned.
To ensure assigned administrative tasks are completed on time and in an appropriate manner.
