Senior Manager – HC Digital Transf.
JOB PURPOSE:
Provides overall leadership and direction to all HC and Digital projects within Human Capital with a particular focus on Organization Efficiency Projects ensuring alignment with overall HC Framework of the corporate and business strategies whilst adopting state of the art digital practices to continually enhance HC excellence within EGA. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Strategy Development and Implementation
- Works to align the HC and digital project strategy with EGA’s purpose, bold aspirations, and values, incorporating feedback from the business and EGA’s people alongside best practice culture.
- Directs the implementation of the functional strategy ensuring alignment to group strategy, EGA’s vision, mission, and corporate objectives.
- Ensures that functional strategy and related strategic plans are developed and implemented, which are aligned with the vision and mission of the organization.
- Ensures the provision of subject matter expertise for the assigned domain and provide counsel to EGA leadership on all related areas to facilitate the achievement of EGA’s strategy and functional strategies.

Project Management (Digital and HC Projects)
- Leads and directs the successful planning and delivery of all strategic HC and digital HC projects in line with stakeholder expectations.
- Works with each HC leader to identify projects that are supported by the long term HC strategy to create a short term and long term plan of projects that deliver to organization requirements
- Identifies, validates and drives the implementation of complex, high risk and/or high intensity HC projects, such as HRIS convergence and evolution, designed to support business effectiveness.
- Leads and directs the HC projects as per the agreed deadlines, specifications and budget in order to ensure adherence to EGA’s quality standards as well as business objective.
- Ensures effective collaboration with external suppliers and vendors to ensure compliant and timely delivery of projects. Reviews all stage gates in the project process to ensure smooth implementation.
- Designs the project management framework and methodology for each approved projects ensuring that relevant templates and standards, aligned with international best practices, is available for relevant stakeholders
- Define areas of digitisation and automaton for HC and defined HC projects and prioritizes key system features, overseeing the entire development process to ensure successful delivery from inception to production.

- Facilitates digital release planning sessions with stakeholders, conducts regular demos, and manages a backlog of items across product teams, prioritizing them according to business objectives.

Stakeholder Management

- Provides functional expertise and represents as the point of contact for external parties and consulting firms on matters related to Organizational Efficiency Projects.

Electrician Technician – Power
JOB PURPOSE:
To perform maintenance, repairs and services of electrical machinery and equipment to ensure efficient operation and reduce production down time.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Repairs and maintains efficiently a wide range of electrical equipment and systems.
Ensures timely preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance repairs, with minimum direction and supervision, (including “on call” duties, as and when required), to restore the electrical systems.

Fire Marshal
JOB PURPOSE:
The primary function of a Fire Marshal is to work as part of the site Emergency Response Team (ERT) and to engage in proactive duties to protect the plant from emergency situations and to provide a safe working environment for employees. A Fire Marshal will engage in extinguishing fires, execution of rescues and other unplanned incidents. He will participate in fire prevention and inspection activities, equipment and premises maintenance, and will train in order to deal with all phases of fire suppression, prevention, inspection, rescue and emergency operation. An employee in this classification will also perform any other duties as required by the Fire and Security Department when so assigned.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Reports through the chain of command to the Supervisor.
- Responds swiftly and safely to all emergency calls and requests for assistance and will deal with emergencies as directed whilst working safely and efficiently as a member of a disciplined team.
- Maintain all emergency equipment in a state of operational readiness, including cleanliness, testing and repairing as required to approved standards and procedures and to undertake checks on emergency resources provided for ERT use, including fire hydrants and other fixed fire detection and suppression installations.
- Take part in a continuous training and developmental learning program by attending lectures, exercises, simulated incidents, practice drill sessions, courses and other forms of training designed to achieve and maintain competence levels.
- Maintain a satisfactory level of personal fitness, hygiene, appearance and cleanliness of uniform commensurate with all the duties of a Fire Marshal.
- Participate in training courses for EGA employees, i.e. Fire Warden, Fire Induction, etc.
- Performs salvage operations such as protection of affected plant and equipment following an incident and removing water and debris.

- Inspects equipment and apparatus and notifies ERT Management of any defects or deficiencies.
- Makes minor repairs to equipment and apparatus, performs routine preventative maintenance tasks and maintains records of such actions.
- Keeps fire station, equipment and grounds in a clean and orderly condition.
- Acquires and retains a thorough knowledge of the plant, including topography, building and plant risks, firefighting water supplies, unusual hazards and related items.
- Enters inspection, training and fire and emergency calls into the relevant log books.
- Performs all work duties and activities in accordance with EGA policies and procedures.
- Works in a safe manner and reports unsafe activity and conditions. Follows EGA Safety policy and practices and adheres to responsibilities concerning accident prevention, reporting and monitoring as per EGA Safety standards.
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive understanding into the activities in all areas of the plant.
- Carry out fire inspections and audits, fire risk assessment and pre-incident planning.
- Carry out testing, inspection and maintenance of fire protection and detection systems and equipment in accordance with department procedures, ensuring all relevant details are recorded.
- Assist medical staff in casualty handling as appropriate.
