ABOUT UNITED OIL PROJECTS COMPANY

United Oil Projects Company was incorporated in the early eighties under the name of Kuwait Chemical Manufacturing Company, interpreting the pioneer vision of its founders to meet both local and international market requirements for specialized chemicals.

In 2005, the company’s management adopted a reformed strategy for the development of its activities to adroitly meet and accommodate the frequent economic transformations and developments, as well as to foster its returns through seizing available investment opportunities in the energy sector, which has witnessed a profound growth during the years. As a result the Company was subsequently re-established as United Oil Projects with an authorized and paid up capital of 10 Million Kuwaiti Dinars approximately USD 35.6 million.

Generally UOP focuses on specialized projects in the Energy, Oil & Gas and petrochemicals sectors through direct investment, alliances and joint ventures with the international market majors of these sectors.

The Company’s Chemical Division is a key producer of polymers, which are used in the manufacture of coatings and glass reinforced products, establishing a local and international presence under the brand name KCMC and becoming the largest resins supplier in Kuwait. UOP is an ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certified entity.

Develop new and current products to meet customer needs
High degree of accuracy of laboratory testing
Qualifications

Bachelor or higher degree in Coatings Technology or in Chemistry, Polymer Engineering.
7 to 12 years of proven track record in:
Developing new resins for major industrial clients
Managing the functioning of a resin manufacturing unit
Providing adequate customer service & technical support
Proven ability in developing new technologies from idea phase to successful commercialization.
Major job responsibilities
Manufacture of new development products in the laboratory.
In process and final product testing on development products.
Performance testing on development products.
Evaluation of new raw material (new or existing from a new supplier).
Evaluation of competitors products.
Batch controlling in the laboratory.
