About the Role

The Sales Advisor role plays a key part in delivering outstanding customer experiences within the retail environment. The position focuses on understanding customer preferences, providing informed advice, and demonstrating suitable products to meet individual needs. Building meaningful relationships with customers, maintaining store presentation standards, and contributing to sales performance are essential aspects of the role. Key Responsibilitie

The Sales Advisor is responsible for welcoming every customer in a professional, warm, and friendly manner while maintaining exceptional service standards at all times. Customer needs are identified through effective communication and thoughtful questioning, followed by confident product recommendations and demonstrations. Opportunities to suggest complementary products are maximized to enhance each transaction and successfully close sales.

The role includes handling cash and authorized payment methods accurately, issuing receipts or invoices, and providing efficient point-of-sale service. Customer complaints are managed professionally and in accordance with company after-sales policies, with escalation to management when required.

Strong product knowledge is maintained at all times, including awareness of current fashion trends, in-store promotions, and new product arrivals. Personal grooming and appearance standards are upheld as directed by store management to reflect brand values.

The Sales Advisor ensures that sales floors, fitting rooms, and stock areas remain clean, organized, and visually appealing. Daily stock checks are conducted, and low stock levels are reported promptly to ensure timely replenishment. Full compliance with company policies is required, including refund and exchange procedures, security guidelines, and health and safety regulations.

Customer database growth is supported by accurately registering customer details within the point-of-sale system. Vigilance on the sales floor and in fitting rooms helps minimize stock loss and protects company assets.

Qualifications

Education:
High school qualification or equivalent.

Experience:
One to two years of experience in retail sales or customer service, preferably within a fashion or lifestyle environment.
