Senior Officer – Pricing Distribution

MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

To perform filing of fares & rules in ATPCO system and ensures quality assurance, by leading or contributing to projects related to technical pricing, designing pricing structures, participating in strategy development for efficient Distribution and Management of fares in various distribution channels.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Files new fares/rules or changes which are updated accurately in the system within agreed SLA in all channels of distribution.
Coordinates with different teams for launch of new fare filling and creation of all fare structures in different channels of distribution.
Ensures the network fares are filled in accordance with flydubai fare structure (FCR) and all fare rules updated correctly in the system.
Mentors and guides Pricing Distribution Officers and supports performance to achieve team SLAs and accuracy level targets.
Ensures the abuse and misinterpretation/application of fares and rules is mitigated through the controlled, automatic quoting, pricing, and ticketing of passenger fares and rules.
Works closely with Pricing and Revenue Management to ensure that fare structure is maintained and any discrepancies are highlighted and amended.
Conducts user testing of revenue management and pricing systems and provide requirements to develop, implement and customize solutions in accordance with flydubai business model.
Ensures the revenue and yield targets are supported, and cost savings are achieved.
Checks all Special Service Request (SSR) rates in the system, exchange rates and penalties in consultation with relevant teams.
Ensures all taxes and surcharges are maintained up to date in the system and all changes required updated in a timely manner.
Leads or contributes towards Pricing related projects by actively collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS

Officer – Procurement (National Development)

MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

To perform activities of procurement cycle while ensuring that procured products and services are cost-efficient, high in quality, procured in a timely manner and in line with the company’s approved procurement and contract procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepares all RFPs (Requests for Proposals), RFQs (Request for Quotations), and issues ‘Invitation to Bid/Tender’ letters and all related documents in coordination through appropriate sources including newspaper/commercial advertisement in cooperation with concerned business unit/department.
Handles all incoming documentation concerning contract performance ensuring that all contract actions are being completed according to the regulation of flydubai and the Government.
Conducts contract lifecycle performance management which involves vendor performance tracking/reviews and all necessary formalities related to contract amendments, renewals and extensions minimizing any impact on flydubai’s operations.
Negotiates with vendors on the submitted tenders to improve service offerings and/or reduce the associated fees or the project duration.
Coordinates with the relevant stakeholders to conduct a full evaluation of the shortlisted proposals.
Ensures that all necessary award documentation (purchase orders, signed contracts etc.) are prepared to eliminate any risk of project delayed delivery.
Maintains and grows flydubai’s approved vendor list as well as enhances flydubai’s Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) for both existing suppliers as well as potential suppliers.
Provides input to and oversees the completion of prequalification process on all potential vendors ensuring that flydubai’s approved vendor management policies are adhered to. This involves a detailed analysis of all provided documentation (licenses, company profiles, financial statements etc.).
Analyses and prepares a full report highlighting key performance indicators and relevant metrics (spend statistics, savings etc.) on the portfolio handled.
Conducts training sessions on the approved procurement systems and processes to end users.
Maintains records & relevant documentations related to all stages of the procurement cycle.

We are looking for a HR Operations Officer who will provides administrative support to Human Resources department including but not limited to Employee Profile creating, onboarding and off-boarding, upkeep of HR files, time & attendance and payroll.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Ensure joining formalities are arranged including staff ID cards and email creation.

Aircraft Mechanic

Jazeera Airways is looking for an Aircraft Mechanic who would be responsible to carry out a variety of duties related to the servicing of aircraft on the ramp. Includes visual inspection of the aircraft according to procedures defined for each type of aircraft, effecting servicing and routine minor repairs, towing aircraft functions, and maintaining upkeep of tools and equipment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Responsible for carrying out pre-departure checks & performing routine/ non routine Aircraft maintenance tasks as per his authorization scope issued by the company including but not limited to trouble shooting, components removal/ installation.
  • Assist in conducting pre-departure checks.
  • Ensure completion of all necessary manual and automated records as required by applicable regulations, manuals, contract guidance, and company directives.
  • Responsible for reporting occurrences, events, violations, and actions that may affect safety, security, and company reputation to superiors.
  • Participate in towing and movement of aircraft during maintenance activities.
  • Perform pre-arrival inspections, including checking for Foreign Object Debris (F.O.D), and ensure the aircraft parking area is obstruction-free.
  • Inform Aircraft Engineer, Quality Assurance & Safety Division of any procedural occurrences or discrepancies.
  • Conduct ground cockpit communication via headset or designated signals during departure and arrival.
  • Receive arriving aircraft, chock the wheels, and ensure firefighting equipment is available and serviceable on stands.
  • Assist Duty Engineer in arranging maintenance steps, tools, equipment, and requested tasks like replenishing aircraft engine oil, oleo charging, and technical rectification.
  • Ensure personal tools are available and in good condition when assigned to the aircraft.
  • Ensure safety and quality in the tasks/functions performed.


Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or equivalent

What are you going to do

Role Purpose

  • Responsible for Planning, Engineering, Dimensioning and Implementation of Core Telecom Network elements and Value-Added Services. Also, evolve network to support next generation technology.
  • Plan architecture to support Network evolution and future technologies.
  • Responsible for Planning, Engineering, Dimensioning and Implementation of Core Network elements like Circuit Core, Evolved Packet Core (Including PCRF/PCEF/DPI), 5GC (SA & NSA), HLR/HSS, IMS Core and other Core Network Elements (STP, SS7 firewall, DRA, Entitlement Server, e-SIM and NFV/SDN inclusive of infrastructure) including roaming, Value Added Services (VAS) and interconnect business requirements and evolve network to support next generation technologies.
  • Lead & initiate professional work of considerable difficulty which requires multi-disciplined technical engineering capabilities in planning and designing of Telecom Grade Network, CapEx / OpEx optimization and Technology Transformation. Complete complex engineering projects and function either as advanced specialists by independently completing assignments which involve multi-disciplined technical engineering duties but do not involve providing work direction to other staff.
  • Plan & design complex projects and lead migrations of services independently.
  • Responsible for preparing the Business Plan and Annual Operating Plan, which shall contribute in budget planning, in line with Company and group strategy and roadmap.Key Accountabilities1. Core Network and VAS PlanningNetwork Planning:
  • Plan, Design and Dimension Core Network elements like Circuit Core, Evolved Packet Core (Including PCRF/PCEF/DPI) / 5GC, HLR/HSS, IMS Core and other Core Network Elements (STP, DSR, Entitlement Server, e-SIM, and NFV/SDN inclusive of infrastructure) including roaming and interconnect business requirements and VAS
  • Project management and supervision of VAS and Core Network Transformation/Modernization project and Core Network expansion.
  • Build Project plan and implementation documents that would be the reference document for Implementation and operation team while integrating new systems/services.
  • Plan and Design geo-redundant and resilient network to eliminate single points of failure for VAS and Core Network elements and all critical core components and services with 99.999% availability. Build standard operating procedures for business continuity in the event of system and network failures or due to Force Majeure.
  • Lead special projects as and when assigned by seniors and superiors.
  • Monitor, optimize and maintain Core Network platforms and VAS KPI to ensure performance, capacity utilization, features requirements and call flow
  • Plan, Design and create work orders based on business needs, ensuring the desired business requirements is executedSolutions & RFP:
  • Prepare Technical Specifications, Statement of Compliance, Responsibility Matrix, Scope of Work and finalising Technical evaluation criteria.
  • New Technologies, Solutions, functionalities and features evaluation through RFI/RFP process in Core network from multiple vendor bids as per the state of compliance and specified technical requirements.
  • Core Network strategic roadmap planning in alignment with marketing roadmap and Company group strategic initiativesProcurement:
  • Support Supply Chain in procurement process of Core network elements and services needed to fulfil business requirements, network modernization and expansion. Follow up on all stages from initiation to delivery/implementation ensuring sound process for purchase until deployment.Budget Planning & Strategy:
  • Contribute in budget planning (CapEx and OpEx),
  • Prepare 3 Year Business Plan and Annual Operating Plan for Core Network elements and associated services.Process & Procedure:
  • Audit & Standards Compliance – Internal Audit, Security Governance, Company Group recommendations and standards compliance. This includes drafting processes and planning Network architecture Upgrades based on Audit & standards compliance.
  • Provides internal consultation in specialised field and assists in the review of prepared designs.2. Strategy & Roadmap Alignment with Business and Company Group
  • Provide strategic inputs to Business teams to help formulate future strategies and implementation plans. Also contribute from technology function to co-create business plans and product roadmap
  • Strategic planning, roadmap in alignment with marketing roadmap and Company group strategic initiatives
  • Participating in Company group strategies and competency centre covering strategy drafting and knowledge sharing with Company OPCO’s3. Staff

Essential skills and knowledge 

Qualification and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication or Computer or Electronics Engineering or related discipline and appropriate registration with a recognised professional institute.
  • Degree shall be duly approved by Kuwait Society of Engineers
  • Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience in Core & VAS Planning, Designing and engineering including managerial skill sets and Project Management experience
  • Required experience with telecommunication network elements such as Circuit Core, Evolved Packet Core (Including PCRF/PCEF/DPI) / 5GC, HLR/HSS, IMS Core and other Core Network Elements (STP, DSR, Entitlement Server, e-SIM, and NFV/SDN inclusive of infrastructure) and Value-Added Services (VAS)
  • Advanced working knowledge of GSM, UMTS, LTE, 5G technologies
  • Expertise in IP concept
  • Ability to apply diverse knowledge of engineering principles within broad assignments making independent engineering decisions evaluation, selection, adaptation and modification using advanced engineering techniques and procedures.
