What are you going to do

Role Purpose

  • Responsible for Planning, Engineering, Dimensioning and Implementation of Core Telecom Network elements and Value-Added Services. Also, evolve network to support next generation technology.
  • Plan architecture to support Network evolution and future technologies.
  • Responsible for Planning, Engineering, Dimensioning and Implementation of Core Network elements like Circuit Core, Evolved Packet Core (Including PCRF/PCEF/DPI), 5GC (SA & NSA), HLR/HSS, IMS Core and other Core Network Elements (STP, SS7 firewall, DRA, Entitlement Server, e-SIM and NFV/SDN inclusive of infrastructure) including roaming, Value Added Services (VAS) and interconnect business requirements and evolve network to support next generation technologies.
  • Lead & initiate professional work of considerable difficulty which requires multi-disciplined technical engineering capabilities in planning and designing of Telecom Grade Network, CapEx / OpEx optimization and Technology Transformation. Complete complex engineering projects and function either as advanced specialists by independently completing assignments which involve multi-disciplined technical engineering duties but do not involve providing work direction to other staff.
  • Plan & design complex projects and lead migrations of services independently.
  • Responsible for preparing the Business Plan and Annual Operating Plan, which shall contribute in budget planning, in line with Company and group strategy and roadmap.Key Accountabilities1. Core Network and VAS PlanningNetwork Planning:
  • Plan, Design and Dimension Core Network elements like Circuit Core, Evolved Packet Core (Including PCRF/PCEF/DPI) / 5GC, HLR/HSS, IMS Core and other Core Network Elements (STP, DSR, Entitlement Server, e-SIM, and NFV/SDN inclusive of infrastructure) including roaming and interconnect business requirements and VAS
  • Project management and supervision of VAS and Core Network Transformation/Modernization project and Core Network expansion.
  • Build Project plan and implementation documents that would be the reference document for Implementation and operation team while integrating new systems/services.
  • Plan and Design geo-redundant and resilient network to eliminate single points of failure for VAS and Core Network elements and all critical core components and services with 99.999% availability. Build standard operating procedures for business continuity in the event of system and network failures or due to Force Majeure.
  • Lead special projects as and when assigned by seniors and superiors.
  • Monitor, optimize and maintain Core Network platforms and VAS KPI to ensure performance, capacity utilization, features requirements and call flow
  • Plan, Design and create work orders based on business needs, ensuring the desired business requirements is executedSolutions & RFP:
  • Prepare Technical Specifications, Statement of Compliance, Responsibility Matrix, Scope of Work and finalising Technical evaluation criteria.

  • Support Supply Chain in procurement process of Core network elements and services needed to fulfil business requirements, network modernization and expansion. Follow up on all stages from initiation to delivery/implementation ensuring sound process for purchase until deployment.Budget Planning & Strategy:
  • Contribute in budget planning (CapEx and OpEx),
  • Prepare 3 Year Business Plan and Annual Operating Plan for Core Network elements and associated services.Process & Procedure:
  • Audit & Standards Compliance – Internal Audit, Security Governance, Company Group recommendations and standards compliance. This includes drafting processes and planning Network architecture Upgrades based on Audit & standards compliance.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Qualification and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication or Computer or Electronics Engineering or related discipline and appropriate registration with a recognised professional institute.
  • Degree shall be duly approved by Kuwait Society of Engineers
  • Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience in Core & VAS Planning, Designing and engineering including managerial skill sets and Project Management experience
  • Required experience with telecommunication network elements such as Circuit Core, Evolved Packet Core (Including PCRF/PCEF/DPI) / 5GC, HLR/HSS, IMS Core and other Core Network Elements (STP, DSR, Entitlement Server, e-SIM, and NFV/SDN inclusive of infrastructure) and Value-Added Services (VAS)

CONTROLLER – BILLING

Job Description


1. Receive the Vessel file from the output section after vessel completion and ensure that all charges are included according to the CTMS summary and invoice summary.
2. Verify all charges and ensure all is correctly billed, in case of any missing charges or discrepancy, raise manual supplementary invoice for the same and Communicate to supervisor for review and approval.
3. Raise all manual invoices for charges, update the CTMS and email it to supervisor for further action.
4. Raise all manual charges invoices which are not captured in the CTMS automation and ensure the same is update in the system.
5. Ensure that all the generated invoices are checked against the data provided by the Output department and there is no loss of revenue.
6. In case of disputes in invoices from the agents, verify the details and forward to supervisor for further actions.
7. Prepare a billing advice for invoicing, which includes details of the cargo, delays, equipment & gears used and other details chargeable to the agent, raise a supplement invoice for the supplement manifest and forward the invoice to Finance and the agent.
8. Attend to the agent and consignee queries, when required, receive and confirm supplier invoices (Stevedoring) by checking for any errors and forward the same for payment.
    Aluminum Billing:
9. Prepare a report consolidating the data regarding Handling, Storage and Lashing and Additional EGA operations, Tarpaulin and Rebinding, overtime and cargo import, confirm with operations update the charges in system and send to Supervisor for approval.
10. Archive the document for reference.
T&D Billing:
11. Update invoices for ray shifting, Weighbridge shifting, Cargo shifting between Terminals, Mafi trailer and Detention charges, ITT shifting charges & share it with supervisor for approval.

Job Description

1          Ensuring compliance with relevant international, local, statutory, legislative, regulatory, DP World standard practices or other contractual obligations with respect to inspection and testing of equipment and its accessories and facilities.

2          Perform equipment inspection based on scheduled intervals and ensure all new equipment owned and received undergone statutory checks and inspection prior to first use. 

3          Reporting of results of inspection, specifying any repair, service or replacement action and/or recommendations necessary to return the lifting equipment to a state of compliance with the appropriate and relevant standards.

4          Maintaining proper documentation of policies, procedures and operations starting from receiving the request for an inspection, carrying out regular inspections, preparing for inspection, performing inspections, recording results and up to the issuance of the final report and/or certificate.

5          Ensuring testing facilities are properly equipped with equipment and instruments appropriate for the type of inspection being conducted and are calibrated to required standards.

6          Detecting possible faults and damages and assessing their impact on occupational safety.  Assessment includes effects of wear, deformation or damaged incurred that may affect operational safety.

7          Ensure utmost compliance with occupational health, safety and environmental policies whilst performing responsibilities and report imminent hazardous occurrences related to any lifting equipment and it working environment.

Cabin Crew (UAE) Sharjah and Abu Dhabi

Job Purpose
Acts as Air Arabia’s ambassador; strives to achieve customers’ loyalty and to promote a positive corporate image, at all times, through enhancing the overall customers’ experience. Provides excellent customer service to all passengers whilst ensuring their safety and comfort are achieved throughout the complete flight cycle. Key Result Responsibilities
Conduct:

Ensures timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness and legality of self for the assigned flights. Attends “Briefing” to ensure acknowledgement of flight details, distribution of roles, targets, security checks, boarding, etc.


Safety Measures:

Instructs passengers on safety procedures to be followed ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
Identifies areas of safety and security risks and partners with the Cabin Supervisor to take remedial action in accordance with the SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
Administers first aid to passengers where necessary.
Informs Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew and Captain, as appropriate, with any irregularities and malfunctions promptly.


Customer Service:

Welcomes passengers and assists in their boarding formalities; enters necessary data into the aircraft log book as per Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA adopted procedures.
Provides constant excellent customer services to passengers by attending to their individual pre-bookings, requests and needs.
Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties in accordance with the corresponding policies and procedures detailed in the Operations Manual and other relevant instructions.
Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and “Charity Cloud” program by efficiently promoting the on-board meals, products and charity services and thereby achieves individual and team targets.
Ensures proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received against individual sales and donations managed by him/her.


Crosschecking and Reports:

Carries out pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment and other specified equipment prior to take off; provides report for any deficiencies to Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain as appropriate.
Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is cleaned thoroughly at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty free products are provided before flying.
Ensures orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning and/or maintenance staff.
Carries out the post-flight briefing and assessment reports as per adopted policies and procedures: provides objective evaluation of the Cabin Supervisor, reports any problems or discrepancies on flight, closing and sealing of duty free containers.
Accounts to Cabin Supervisor for the conduct of passengers; carries out the duties of ‘Cabin Supervisor’ when designated as such by the Captain.
Maintains necessary professional and safety knowledge and competitiveness by attending recurrent trainings, emergency procedures trainings, and educational workshops and by ensuring current license.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.


Important Requirements


Age: Between 20 to 26 years for the candidates without previous experience as a Cabin Crew
Up-to 33 years for Experienced Cabin Crew
Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
Weight: To be in proportion to Age and Height
Clear skin with no marks or tattoos that would be visible whilst wearing the cabin crew uniform
Medically/ Physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
Ability to swim with aid of a flotation device


Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)


Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is acceptable for this role; a diploma in Travel/ Tourism is a plus.
Training in First Aid, Safety and Emergency Procedures are an added value.
Fit to fly, has good general health, no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Language: Must be fluent in Written and Spoken English.
Fluency in Arabic is preferred.


Work Experience

Job Purpose


The Process & Quality Engineer will design, implement, and optimize maintenance and workshop processes to enhance safety, compliance, and production efficiency. This role ensures that maintenance workflows meet regulatory requirements and company standards, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Result Responsibilities


Develop and documents maintenance and workshop processes aligned with aviation regulations and company policies.
